Role SummaryOur Roan Edge Quarry, located in a stunning region of the UK, offers a unique blend of historic charm and vibrant culture. Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment to ensure efficient extraction and processing of materials.
- Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the site to ensure a productive and efficient operation.
- Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence to ensure continuity of operations.
- Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to resolve issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues.
