Job Title: Ultra-Low-Latency Platform EngineerRole Overview

We're seeking a skilled Linux Platform Engineer with a background in ultra-low-latency systems to join our team in London or Singapore. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will design, implement, and maintain low-latency infrastructure solutions across 400+ servers at 22+ global sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide low-latency infrastructure solutions consistently across our global infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with business partners, application owners, clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver systems based on Linux (CentOS and Rocky) in response to requirements and day-to-day requests.
  • Initiate automation of routine tasks and promote the practice of Infrastructure as Code.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky preferred) in a large environment focused on operations, systems engineering, and systems performance.
  • Experience in server management and support: HP, SuperMicro, Dell, various overclock servers.
  • Proficiency with low-latency network interfaces and kernel bypass (configuration and optimization): Solarflare with onload, Mellanox with VMA.
  • In-depth knowledge of server network stack configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting, including TCP, UDP (unicast/multicast), NTP, PTP, and wireshark/tshark.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or related).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of system hardware/OS tuning and performance troubleshooting, understanding of CPU architectures.
  • Experience with build and configuration management tools, specifically Chef or Ansible.
  • Experience with observability tools, in particular Grafana & Prometheus.
  • Experience with scripting & automation (Python, Ruby, Bash).
