Energy Storage Systems Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our Energy Infrastructure Team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to sales and product marketing, preparing proposals, and advising on solutions for Energy Storage Systems and Power Conditioning Systems in commercial, industrial, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to sales and product marketing in an accurate and timely manner
- Support the proposal preparation process
- Prepare proposals and advise on solutions
- Support the management of technical customer requirements in collaboration with the product management and development team from specification to acceptance with the customer
- Assist in identifying new market opportunities. Supervise local legislation and standards
- Occasional on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges
- Support relationship management and service delivery to business customers in Europe
- Held planning, installation & service trainings
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's product line
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems or Power Conditioning Systems
- Fluent English (spoken and written is essential) and Chinese (advantage)
- Excellent technical knowledge related to integration of different systems (interfaces & control) and understanding of Energy Storage Systems
- Installation experience / certificate to work in low voltage grid
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to specify customer-requirements to the product management & development department
- Capable to self-manage the daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team
- Customer focus, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- In possession of a driving license
