About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our engineering consultancy division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions and technical advice to support our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and checking of permanent and temporary works, including above and below ground structures in various materials.
- Delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance our reputation and competitive position.
- Tender stage and bid-winning support, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
- Technical assessment and review of third-party designs to ensure compliance with client and Kier requirements.
- Management and mentorship of junior team members.
Requirements
- Chartered engineer or willingness to become chartered.
- Interest in permanent and temporary works design or relevant experience.
- Full UK driving license.
