As a Materials Planner at Gousto, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials into our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the ordering of our Produce SKUs, working closely with suppliers, buying, production teams, and other stakeholders to optimize inventory levels while maintaining on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and place Purchase Orders for the delivery of raw materials into multiple production sites.
  • Utilize data on production requirements, forecasts, and inventory targets to guide decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor demand patterns, lead times, and supplier performance to ensure optimal inventory levels and prevent stockouts or excesses.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and build strong working relationships to ensure successful execution of the Supply Chain strategy.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in our KPIs and Supply Chain processes.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
