Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful business as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The company is a prominent player in their industry, delivering high-quality products throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and diagnose equipment failures, returning equipment to operation safely and efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, working collaboratively with engineering teams.
  • Liaise with engineering teams to identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
  • Locate and retrieve spare parts using the maintenance management system.
  • Identify failure modes of electrical equipment and recommend preventative measures.
  • Obtain maintenance schedules and record work completed using notifications.
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines, including collaborative work with other engineers.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing.
  • Drive, enthusiasm, and self-motivation, with ability to motivate others.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Accurate and timely reporting skills.
  • Completed apprenticeship as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Working knowledge of good engineering practices.
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
