About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical nutrition support to patients across various specialties, including general medicine, surgery, critical care, and more.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in delivering clinical treatment within dietetics, including the management of a range of conditions.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Postgraduate training within dietetics and/or practice placement supervisor qualification are desirable.
