SEN Teacher Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work with a Primary aged learner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The successful SEN Teacher will have experience in supporting Key Stage 1 or 2 learners with special educational needs such as but not limited to Autism, ADHD, and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safeguard our young pupils and ensure they feel safe and secure.
  2. Provide our learners with the best possible platform for education.
  3. Create and follow a pupil-specific plan.
  4. Record and share pupil progress with the necessary individuals.
  5. Commute to Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire and work alongside an experienced SEN TA.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learners.
  2. Recognised De-escalation Training or willingness to obtain.
  3. Experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs (SEMH).
  4. Ideally, hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have relevant experience.
  5. Ideally suited to staff that own and drive their vehicle in Bar Hill, Cambridgeshire.
