Management Accountant

A permanent Management Accountant role is available for a successful manufacturing business in Evesham.
About the RoleThis is a key position within the management team, responsible for controlling the day-to-day operations of the plant, supporting across key financial areas, and acting as a business partner to various stakeholders throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly management reporting with supporting analysis
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Business partnering with key internal departments (sales, supply chain, production etc.) to drive financial performance
- Analyzing production activity and performance
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
- Cashflow management and monitoring
- Ownership of the product costing process and supporting new product development
- Monitoring of costs, variances, supply chain costs, and G&A costs
- Supporting colleagues in Capex requests and investments follow-up
- Qualified/part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Experience of managing day-to-day processes and ensuring relevant controls are in place
- Manufacturing background and comfortable working in a fast-moving business (costing experience highly advantageous)
- Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge the status quo
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships
- Highly proficient with Excel (XLookUps, VLookUps, Pivot Tables) and data analysis/manipulation
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage)
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and the chance to work for a reputable SME entity of a larger, globally recognized Group. You will be office-based for the first month or two but once settled, you will be able to work from home 2 days per week.
