Procurement Manager Opportunity

Crescent Purchasing Consortium is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Contracting Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of purchasing agreements within the People category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the whole procurement cycle across the People category
  • Provide day-to-day management, training, mentoring, and support to the Contract Manager, Senior Procurement Officer, and Procurement Officer(s) within the People category
  • Work closely with the Contracting Team to ensure effective procurement practices

Requirements:

  • Extensive procurement experience within the public sector
  • Detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation
  • Experience of working in the education sector
  • Experience in managing a small team of direct reports
