Job Overview

Capula, a leading provider of advanced system integration, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in obtaining competitive quotations, managing vendor relationships, and driving value through our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a quotations inbox, ensuring efficient organization and flow of quotations to requesting staff.
  • Identify and record discounts, negotiating further reductions wherever possible.
  • Develop and maintain a discount and deal register in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager on terms and conditions of business with the supply chain.
  • Occasionally deputize for the Procurement Manager as required.
  • Participate in client and internal audits alongside the Procurement Manager.

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiating and communication skills.
  • Understanding of terms and conditions of business, particularly supply of products only.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing roles within the electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of H&S and CDM regulations.
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent.
  • Subcontractor management experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all staff levels.
  • Experience with modern electronic purchase order systems or accounting software.
