Job Description

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions for mid to enterprise-level organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle Database environments from versions 11g upwards
  • Develop and maintain high-performance database solutions
  • Implement and support Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) with Oracle Forms and Reports
  • Migrate to Oracle OCI and AWS RDS
  • Manage Oracle Exadata Database Machine
  • Perform disaster recovery methods and capacity planning
  • Upgrade and migrate large and multiple database environments
  • Identify and correct performance issues
  • Review systems and error logs, storage management, backups, job monitoring, optimization efforts, data integrity analysis, and resolving database contention issues
  • Experience with third-party backup and monitoring tools
