Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at EQUANS in Cambridge. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive engineering support, maintaining the building infrastructure, and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide all-round engineering support, including maintenance, repairs, and operations of equipment and services
- Ensure compliance with health and safety codes of practice and building regulations
- Work closely with the lead engineer to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Assist in producing method statements and risk assessments
- Report incidents and accidents, including near misses, to the account manager and log on the AIMS portal
Requirements
- Apprenticeship, primary trade qualifications, and substantial experience within a building services environment
- C&G Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent
- 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation
- Critical services environment experience
- Proficient level of IT skills
- Ability to effectively work under pressure
- Ability to diagnose faults and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
- Must have a full clean UK driving licence
