Job Title: Aircraft Director

Clay Lacy Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Director to oversee the maintenance and operations of our fleet of aircraft. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize maintenance and operations
  • Manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft
  • Coordinate with the Aircraft Management Team to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform and complete light and moderate work on aircraft, as well as coordinate moderate and heavy maintenance
  • Establish and maintain records as required by the FARs, manufacturer, and company policies
  • Identify and report safety hazards utilizing CLA's SMS program
  • Provide the Aircraft Management Team with a 24-month projection, updated monthly, inclusive of downtime, estimated costs, and coordination
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of A&P-related duties with experience in maintaining large cabin Gulfstream G450/550 aircraft
  • G-450/550, G-500 (GVII) type rating training, or direct experience is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing subordinates or contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and tasks to meet
  • Able and willing to travel for all aircraft maintenance events not completed at home base
  • Have excellent interpersonal and management skills
