About the Role

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Consultant to join our team in Solihull. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the management of multiple, related high-priority and/or high-risk projects aligned with key strategic initiatives.
  • Lead project teams to deliver complex business, integration, implementation projects, and continuous improvement/lean efforts.
  • Apply program and project management principles to manage scope, timeline, resources, stakeholders, and risk throughout the lifecycle of strategic initiatives.
  • Provide technical training and guidance for continuous improvement on the planning, development, and implementation of process improvement.
  • Utilize facilitation and consultancy skills to assist leaders in identifying growth opportunities and planning strategically.
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting and managing projects in Finance, Credit, and operations.
  • Strong ability to lead a project and a group of SMEs, actively participating in project work and supporting in the requirements for delivery/implementation.
  • 6 Sigma background.
  • Project Management Professional certification (PMP).
