About the role:
- Responsibilities include working on the shop floor, stripping and inspecting motors and pumps, and quoting repairs.
- Key tasks include obtaining prices for parts and new units, conducting health and safety checks, and monitoring work-in-progress on the end-of-shift physical check.
- Additional duties include prioritizing work for engineers, communicating with customers, and conducting daily and weekly inspections of machinery, guards, and the spray booth.
- Other responsibilities include collecting emergency parts and ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop.
Requirements:
- Able to work on the shop floor and perform tasks such as stripping and inspecting motors and pumps.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct health and safety checks.
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment.
