Job Title: Equipment Configuration Engineer

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

As an Equipment Configuration Engineer at Air IT Limited, you will be responsible for configuring and delivering end-user equipment on client sites, providing technical support to clients, and managing and maintaining off-site workshop storage facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, install, and configure end-user equipment on client sites as required, offering remote and on-site technical support to clients, addressing their queries and issues promptly.
  • Manage and maintain off-site workshop storage facility, following company procedure for receiving and shipping customer stock. Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and handling of equipment.
  • Log and action all activity within the CRM system following established Service Desk procedures.
  • Conduct quality checks on all equipment before delivery to clients to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Support the Technical services team on any workshop-related sections of projects.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable knowledge as a Service Desk Engineer.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop Environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Backup/DRaaS, and related technologies.
  • Current and valid UK driving license.
  • Basic knowledge of Networking technologies (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing/Switching), Azure Active Directory & IaaS, InTune & Conditional Access Technologies, and Mimecast email security.
