Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Façade Consultant to join their London office. This role will report to the Regional Manager – UK and will be involved in a range of large scale curtain wall projects from concept stage to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the design and engineering of curtain wall and cladding systems, as well as specialty systems (i.e. structural glass, cables, ETFE etc.)
- Coordinate with other project consultants such as Architects and Builders to determine best practice façade design outcomes
- Provide hand design sketches, develop reports for all stages of the project from conception to completion
- Assist and coordinate with other members of the consulting team in the preparation of project deliverables
- Provide assistance during construction of façade systems including attendance mock-up testing, shop drawing reviews and conduct factory & site inspections
- Master degree in Architecture (or 5 year equivalent) or Bachelor degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes for façades and services
- Planning and organisational skills
- Be flexible to meet varied demands of the role
