Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: West Midlands

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team. We are a Specialist provision through school in the West Midlands, supporting pupils with a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as behavioural needs.

We are committed to cultivating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential. As a successful candidate, you will have experience working with children with diverse needs and be committed to creating a safe and positive learning space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEMH pupils.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning and development.
  • Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and communication.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.
