Social Care Professional

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities Team as a Social Care Officer.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will support and enable individuals with learning disabilities to access and participate in a variety of group activities within community and building-based settings to work towards their identified outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with varied needs, including potentially supporting stressed/distressed behaviours and intimate personal care needs.
- Undertake link worker duties, including file maintenance, coordinating and chairing reviews, formulating and developing personal plans to meet specified and future outcomes.
- Operate relevant electronic systems to carry out tasks, ensuring the integrity of data and appropriate security.
- Identify, manage and mitigate potential risks to self and others, by applying existing guidelines, seeking advice when required.
- Experience of working with vulnerable adults who have learning and/or physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and other varied needs.
- Good digital skills and ability to operate relevant electronic systems.
- Ability to influence the way we work with each other as well as the people and communities we serve.
