About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Avondale Care Home. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Supervise and motivate the catering team to ensure high standards of food safety and quality
- Monitor and manage the catering budget and food stock ordering
- Support the provision of catering operations in line with company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a qualification in food catering
- Ability to lead a small kitchen team and motivate staff to achieve high standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm, passion, and a strong commitment to service delivery
