We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our dedicated kitchen team at Avondale Care Home. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality meals to our residents, while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Supervise and motivate the catering team to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Monitor and manage the catering budget and food stock ordering
- Ensure compliance with company Food Safety policies, guidelines, and statutory regulations
- Collaborate with the care team to provide personalized meal plans for residents with specific dietary requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a qualification in food catering
- Ability to lead a small kitchen team and motivate staff to achieve high standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm, passion, and a strong commitment to service delivery
