Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Children's Support Specialist. This role will involve supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) in a specialized educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering the curriculum and supporting individual learning plans to ensure students receive a high-quality education.
- Provide personal care, including feeding, changing, and toileting, in a safe and respectful manner.
- Help students complete daily tasks and routines, promoting independence and self-care skills.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Monitor and track each student's progress, providing regular updates to parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to create an engaging and supportive educational experience.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Overseas Criminal Clearance if applicable.
