Delivering for Your Community
We are seeking an upbeat and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers across the Winscombe Delivery Office area.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 30 hours per week, 5 days a week, with a mix of weekdays and weekends. You will be required to work Saturdays and 2 in 4 Sundays, but don't worry, we'll make sure you have a good balance of days off.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.54, paid monthly, with overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal rate. You'll also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be:
- Upbeat, independent, and self-motivated
- Organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
- A people-person and a friendly face in the community
- Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
- Have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do
- Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
