Purchase Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team based in Newry. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing process for materials and services required for manufacturing operations.
About YouThe successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and suppliers
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives by identifying areas for improvement
You will be working closely with the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives and ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years administration experience in an office environment
- IT proficient with the use and demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Supplier management experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
The salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
