Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Fairfield Farm Crisps. As a key member of our Engineering function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain production and ancillary equipment, property, and facilities to minimize downtime and meet production process requirements.
  • Perform prompt and safe repairs to manufacturing equipment, working on various machinery, including Washers, Graders, Weighers, Baggers, and others, as per the Planned Maintenance Schedule.
  • Complete Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules, maintain accurate records, and enter data within specified timescales.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment knowledge and ability to identify and resolve problems or refer to experts.
  • Follow policies and procedures aligned with food safety and quality management systems.
  • Participate actively in health and safety procedures, identifying hazards and risks, and safe working practices.
