Assistant Management Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at a leading construction company. This temporary position is perfect for a proactive individual who is immediately available to step into a dynamic accounting role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct variance analysis and reconcile balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial controls and processes.
  • Assist with year-end audits and ad hoc financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in management accounting within the construction sector is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • AAT qualification or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
