Furniture Production Specialist

As a skilled Furniture Production Specialist, you will play a vital role in our fast-paced manufacturing team. Located in Batley, West Yorkshire, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and family-owned business like HSL Chairs.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to support the production process, ensuring high-quality furniture products meet customer expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment will be crucial in delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comply with Health and Safety procedures as outlined in our company policy.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times.
• Support overtime when needed to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Utilize air-compressed hand tools effectively.
• Hand-fill furniture cushions accurately.
• Assemble furniture using various hand tools, paying close attention to quality standards.
• Prepare furniture prior to upholstery by attaching foam, springs, and other components.
• Build action mechanisms and attach electrical operating systems.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks to assist in modern furniture production, including packaging and labeling finished items for despatch.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a modern furniture production environment is essential.
• Competency in using a variety of hand tools is required.
• Excellent attention to detail is necessary to ensure high-quality products.
Benefits:
• Competitive salary: £12.50 per hour (dependent on skills)
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday (6am-4:15pm or 7am-5:15pm), Fridays off
• Permanent position
