Production Operative

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team at HSL Chairs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring high-quality furniture products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Comply with Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company's Health and Safety policy.
- Ensure good housekeeping is maintained at all times.
- Support overtime within the business when needed.
- Use of air compressed hand tools.
- Hand filling furniture cushions.
- Assembly of furniture using various hand tools.
- Prepping of furniture prior to upholstery attaching foam, springs and other furniture components.
- Assembly of action mechanisms and attaching motors.
- Building action mechanisms and attaching electrical operating systems.
- Other ad-hoc tasks to assist in modern furniture production.
- Packaging and labelling of finished furniture items for despatch.
- Previous experience of working in a modern furniture production role.
- Competent in using a variety of hand tools.
- Attention to detail.
