Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineering Technician to join our Production Engineering team at Renishaw. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of new products, as well as providing technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and input to the Production Engineering team during the New Product Development cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products and processes.
  • Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support production operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation to support assembly operations.

Requirements

  • Education: HNC (or equivalent) or time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in production techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings, design notes, and CAD models.
  • Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
