  • Responsibilities:
    • Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement site-specific health and safety policies that align with relevant laws, standards, and regulations.
    • Hazard Identification and Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify and rectify hazards proactively.
    • Training and Awareness: Deliver effective health and safety training sessions to educate employees and contractors on their responsibilities and safety best practices.
    • Incident Investigation and Prevention: Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement preventive strategies to promote a culture of reporting near-misses and learning from incidents.
    • Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date health and safety documentation and provide detailed reports and updates to senior management.
    • Collaboration and Advocacy: Work closely with site managers, contractors, and external bodies to champion a safety culture and ensure clear and consistent communication of health and safety issues.
