We are currently recruiting for a Senior Planner to undertake duties within our Infrastructure, Project Controls team, supporting projects across the rail, airports, highways, water and utilities sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Infrastructure division, with a broad range of clients and interesting projects to work on.

The Senior Planner will work as part of our Project Controls team on high profile infrastructure projects, providing co-ordination across a number of project controls functions including Planning, Risk, Change and Cost. This may be part of a large team or as the key day to day contact point with the client. Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Water / Utilities) is required, as is experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide co-ordination across project controls functions including Planning, Risk, Change and Cost.
  • Work as part of a large team or as the key day to day contact point with the client.
  • Previous experience working in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector.
  • Experience in at least one of the following: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls and or PMO.

Requirements:

  • Applicants will ideally be degree educated, with previous industry & sector experience being essential.
  • Previous experience of the following tools (or one of) is also required: Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, PRISM (Cost Management System)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be rigorous in following documented processes and governance and be able to demonstrate the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment.
