Senior Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects of national importance, working closely with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues from other disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience of managing projects and programmes for local and central government bodies or other significant public sector clients. You will be a collaborative team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with senior client representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder management.
Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, and with Tetra Tech's policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
Identify and develop opportunities for business growth and development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management.
Collaborate with other teams to identify and develop opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Provide support and guidance to junior team members as required.
Perform other duties as required by the Project Manager or Director for Project Management.
About You

You will have a strong background in project management, with experience of managing projects and programmes for local and central government bodies or other significant public sector clients.
