Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at Damian. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting our chefs in preparing and serving food to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including basic food prep and food storage.
- Ensure all utensils, tools, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food environment or relevant training (e.g., Food Safety at Level 2).
- Good communication skills and a neat, tidy appearance.
- Able to follow procedures and instructions carefully.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
