Senior Relationship Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing productive relationships with our major Software and SaaS suppliers, selected through our Supplier Segmentation process. This involves implementing, managing and developing productive relationships between IT, P&C, BU and IT Key Suppliers.
We are looking for a highly experienced individual with a comprehensive and proven in-depth knowledge and experience of the software and SaaS market and supply chain. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a proven track record in communicating effectively with Senior Management and Directors.
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contractual advice and insights to Procurement and Commercial leadership and Directors of the SSE Group. You will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of Suppliers within the Software category with a value of £50-100m per annum.
The role involves working closely with the Lead Supplier Relationship Manager and the Supplier Segmentation team to identify key suppliers and negotiate contracts. You will also be responsible for managing the performance and developing the capabilities of a team of 2 Contract Managers.
