Support Worker for SEMH Students

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at a PRU setting in Manchester. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, building strong relationships and providing a safe and inclusive environment for learning.
About You:
- You will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of SEND, specifically SEMH.
- You will be able to de-escalate challenging behaviour and have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning.
- You will be willing to support children of all abilities and needs, and have experience of behaviour management and de-escalation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide learning support for students in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
- Support teaching and learning at primary level.
- Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans, setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals.
