Job Role:

Field Service Engineer - Industrial Cleaning

We are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer to join our client's engineering team in the Somerset area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, servicing, and installations of industrial cleaning equipment within a 1-hour radius of your area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend breakdowns, service, and installations of industrial cleaning equipment
  2. Carry out electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment, IG engines, and other related equipment
  3. Manage time effectively to ensure work is completed to a high standard in a timely manner
  4. Update job reports and order parts when necessary
  5. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed
Requirements:
  1. Electrical, electrical, and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience would be advantageous
  2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter
  3. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering - not essential but would be an advantage
  4. Experience using electrical and mechanical tools
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical, or field-based engineer. Any experience surrounding industrial batteries, IC engines, or industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous
  6. Full UK Driver's License
