Job Role:

Field Service Engineer for Industrial Cleaning

We are seeking a skilled electromechanical engineer to join our team as a Field Service Engineer for Industrial Cleaning. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for attending breakdowns, servicing, and installations of industrial cleaning equipment within a 1-hour radius of your area.

The Client:

We have partnered with a rapidly expanding and innovative organization based in the Somerset area to support the growth of their engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electromechanical engineer to learn, develop, and progress within the industrial cleaning machinery sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend breakdowns, service, and installations of industrial cleaning equipment
  2. Carry out electrical, electronic, and mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment
  3. Manage time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner
  4. Update job reports and order parts when necessary
  5. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed
Requirements:
  1. Electrical, electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous
  2. A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter
  3. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering - not essential but would be an advantage
  4. Experience using electrical & mechanical tools
  5. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field based engineer. Any experience surrounding Industrial Batteries, IC Engines or Industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous
  6. Full UK Drivers License
