Clinical Support Officer for Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Officer to join our team in delivering high-quality patient care services.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Digital Systems and Administration Manager in identifying target patients and planning their journey when seeking healthcare related to long-term conditions.
  • They will work closely with the practice team to arrange clinic appointments and maximise practice income while maintaining quality patient care.
  • This includes contacting patients proactively and recording information accurately and timely using manual or computer systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the practice team in preparing local guidelines, protocols, and standards.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for management meetings.
  • Participate in supervision and training to enhance professional development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in primary care.
  • Familiarity with Ardens reporting and practice income stream indicators.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Arrangements:

  • The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • They may be required to attend meetings and training sessions, which could include evenings and weekends.

Salary and Benefits:

£32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience. The salary is inclusive of an annual bonus scheme and access to a range of employee benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
