Landfill Supervisor Job Opportunity at MC Technical Recruitment Ltd

A competitive salary up to £39,300 + Bonus and monthly car allowance are offered for this role.

This position is based in Rainham, Essex, and involves supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day operations of the Landfill Site. The successful candidate will ensure site compliance with Waste Management Licensing, Health & Safety at Work Act, and other policies/procedures. Supervising and leading other members of staff is also a key responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Site Manager with landfill site operations
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  3. Supervise and lead other staff members
  4. Resolve weighbridge queries and communicate with internal departments
  5. Investigate incidents and accidents
  6. Ensure weighbridge operations are conducted in line with company procedures
  7. Assist with financial recording and budget management
  8. Regularly check site operations for service delivery and goods receipt
Requirements:
  1. Proven supervisory experience or leadership skills
  2. Understanding of the Waste industry is beneficial
  3. Ability to operate mobile plant
  4. Natural leadership and organization skills
  5. Full UK driving licence is essential
