About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director of Town Planning to lead our Bristol office and drive the expansion of our portfolio in sectors relevant to the Bristol planning market.

As a key member of our team, you will manage existing projects, build on established relationships, and leverage your network in the southwest to generate additional revenue.

You will lead a small-to-medium team, providing guidance and support to enhance their success. Early on, you will have the autonomy to grow the team, with full access to our vast resources.

By the second year, you will be in a strong position to drive the expansion of our portfolio in sectors relevant to the Bristol planning market of your choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing projects and build on established relationships
  • Leverage your network in the southwest to generate additional revenue
  • Lead a small-to-medium team, providing guidance and support to enhance their success
  • Grow the team, with full access to our vast resources
  • Drive the expansion of our portfolio in sectors relevant to the Bristol planning market
Requirements
  • MRTPI Chartered
  • UK based private Planning sector experience
  • Proven experience as an Associate Director or Director of Town Planning, ideally with a background in the Bristol/Southwest market
  • In-depth knowledge of the planning landscape in Bristol and its surrounding areas
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A track record in business development and building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
  • A passion for sustainable urban development and delivering high-quality planning solutions
