Amplifon, a leading global hearing care solutions and services company, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to join its UK team. Based in the Support Office at Gatewayhouse, Styal Road, this role will be responsible for managing logistics flows and related tasks to support Amplifon's commercial network, optimizing working capital for hearing aids and other products, and partnering with the Corporate Supply Chain team.

About the Role
  • This is a hybrid working position, requiring 2 days of remote work and 3 days in the office.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the supply chain function, shaping strategy, optimizing processes, and flows to maximize customer satisfaction while ensuring cost-effectiveness and end-to-end stock management.
  • Work with the Global Supply Chain Team and the UK team to drive transformation and evolution of the function.
  • Establish and build key relationships with external suppliers, such as logistic operators.
  • Guide and execute Sales and Operations Planning in the country, incorporating market trends and uplifts in the forecasting process, and creating awareness on inventory and supply across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyze and forecast future product demands, working with marketing, sales, retail operations, business intelligence, and finance teams.
  • Identify and implement appropriate stock policy, ensuring rotation and optimization of working capital and maximizing service levels, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Manage the return process, identifying sustainable options that minimize waste while keeping operations smooth and simple.
  • Provide periodic analyses and reporting on inventory performance, monitoring stock trends with different granularity.
  • Control and improve logistic flow, working alongside central warehouse specialists to ensure optimal stock ordering in line with demand to satisfy store consumption.
  • Execute supply chain best practices, measuring performance through agreed-upon KPIs.
  • E nsure all logistics activities are on time and cost-effective.
  • Actively reduce costs, including obsolescence, Transport/Logistics, and return fee penalties, aligning with globally agreed supply chain savings targets.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure alignment on stock reconciliation and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain Management qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar function (Forecasting/Demand planning/Supply/Logistics/Controlling).
