The Supply Chain Planner supports the shipping team to ensure the correct products are shipped & delivered within the correct timeframes to ensure customer orders are received on time. The Role entails monitoring and consolidating numerous orders with a focus on the needs of the business & its customers at all times.

**Operational**:

- Assist the supply chain administrator with shipment plans, chasing supplier updates & keeping on top of outstanding shipments.
- Manage agreed authorised shipping plan consolidations and sending them to the relevant suppliers and shipping agent.
- Updating all relevant information and updating relevant files on the NAV shipping system.
- Monitoring the required dates of sales orders and reporting movements to the sales team so the movement analysis can be kept updated.
- Liaising with the purchasing team on Purchase order issues to make sure that information is kept updated and incorrect or missing PO’s are corrected.
- Liaise with purchasing, sales and sales admin when delivery dates won’t be achieved at the earliest opportunity, so forward planning is in place.
- Liaising with the suppliers on shipment issues such as changes to plans and date changes to make sure the system and relevant people are kept updated.
- Manage shipment documentation and update the shipment system, maintaining data accuracy.
- Covering the duties of the supply chain administrator when required (NAV Issues, Training, Holiday, Absence)
- Assist the inbound supply chain manager with paperwork and chasing suppliers for invoices/bills.
- Assist the inbound supply chain manager with customs issues.
- To carry out general duties as directed by the Department Manager.

**Job Requirements**:

- To build & maintain positive relationships both internally and externally with sales teams in the UK and our extensive supplier base.
- Communicating with internal departments such as Buying and Design to ensure workflow deadlines are met
