Job Title: HR Manager UK

Job Purpose:

To provide expert HR advice and support to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with UK and Ireland practices and legislation in an international working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance for organizational development and redesign activities, managing change management and actions arising.
  • Handle employee relations and employment issues, such as complaints or disciplinary actions, in accordance with local legislation.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure HR practices align with local country regulations.
  • Deliver advice and guidance to employees and managers on various topics during the employment life cycle, including organizational design and development, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and more.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence, such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Payroll, to drive HR projects and initiatives.
  • Manage HR case management systems, including responding to employee requests, following up with Centres of Excellence, and creating and maintaining HR articles to improve the Colleague Experience Promise.
  • Approve and manage HCM (Workday) requests, including new position requests, new hire processes, compensation changes, job changes, data changes, and terminations.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in human resources, business management, or a relevant subject.
  • Proven operational and strategic HR experience within a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of employment legislation is essential.
  • Previous experience working within a global company with a UK and Ireland remit is advantageous.
  • Experience working within a complex matrix organization and with senior leaders is an advantage.
  • Experience managing projects, implementing organizational change within a global context, and working with an HCM (preferably Workday) is essential.
  • Competent with the MS Office suite.
