Maya HTT invites applications for the position of Thermo-Mechanical Analysis Specialist, part of their CAE Solver Group based in the UK. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with clients and developing expertise in the SC03 software, a critical tool for gas turbine design. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of numerical methods for structural or thermal analysis and be proficient in finite element (FE) methods.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for mastering the SC03 software, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and providing effective software support, participating in new feature development, and contributing to the creation of self-paced training courses. They will also engage in documenting all work performed and maintaining open lines of communication with clients and team members worldwide.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, with an emphasis on CAE or simulation. A background in Fortran programming and experience with CAD/CAE platforms and engineering processes are highly desirable. Strong analytical and software programming skills are required, as well as excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive base salary of £68,500 per annum, along with bonus opportunities, comprehensive employer-paid benefits, and career advancement possibilities within Maya HTT.
