The Opportunity:As a FEA Support Engineer in our CAE Solver Group, you will play a key role in supporting and developing the SC03 software, a critical tool for gas turbine design.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain mastery of SC03 for thermo-mechanical, linear and non-linear structural analysis.
- Work closely with clients to understand their workflows, requirements, and needs.
- Investigate and troubleshoot software defects.
- Contribute to new feature development through design, programming, and testing.
- Deliver existing training courses and develop self-paced training content.
- Document all work performed.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields with an emphasis on CAE or simulation.
- Background in numerical methods for structural or thermal analysis, including finite element (FE) methods.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAE platforms and engineering processes.
- Analytical and software programming skills, preferably with Fortran experience.
- Customer-facing ability to work globally.
- Experience with CAD/CAE APIs is desirable.
- DevOps tools experience is beneficial.
