We are seeking an experienced AWS Support Engineer to join our team at Ingram Micro. As a key member of our cloud support team, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of second-line incidents escalated from the 1st Line Support team, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Troubleshoot AWS-related issues, such as network configurations, connectivity problems, and system performance issues.
  • Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and services on AWS, ensuring availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Work closely with 3rd line engineers, solution architects, and developers to resolve complex issues and implement long-term fixes.
  • Automate routine tasks such as backups, updates, and system scaling using AWS tools like CloudFormation, AWS CLI, and Lambda.
  • Develop scripts for system maintenance, automation of incident resolution, and performance tuning (e.g., using Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Maintain and update system documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures related to AWS infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Proficiency with Linux or Windows Server in a cloud environment.
  • Solid understanding of AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPN).
