Job Role:

We're looking for a Senior Denim Designer to join our passionate design team at Nobody's Child. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our design team to execute our various clothing ranges, delivering seasonal key items, trends, details, and color.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our design team to build and present concepts for the season, including collection moodboards and color palettes.
  • Keep up-to-date with new trends and opportunities in the market, while building collections for our wholesale partners.
  • Develop and execute range development end-to-end, from briefs to final product, working closely with all in-house departments.
  • Lead on range development for your department, driving research and presenting new ideas that showcase in-depth trend knowledge and clearly identify department key items, key colors, new fabrics, and details that align with our NC customer.
  • Keep sustainability at the forefront of all development, constantly researching and evolving our brand to be market leaders in eco-responsible design.
  • Create technical design specifications for new garment developments and work with suppliers to ensure fit and quality is prioritized.
  • Actively participate in fittings, in cooperation with buying and the tech team.
  • Establish and build relationships with suppliers and fabric mills.
  • Manage a critical path and demonstrate organization and drive to ensure ranges and correct samples are delivered on time.

You'll Bring:

  • A graduate fashion degree and industry experience in a similar role at senior level, supporting a team.
  • A can-do attitude, with strong drive and energy to deliver.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • IT design skills in Illustrator / CAD / InDesign.
  • A strong understanding of technical design packs and commercial garment construction, fabric construction, and trims.
  • A commitment and passion to deliver responsible, thoughtful design.
