Denim Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Denim Designer to join our team at The Retail Partnership Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating fashion-forward denim designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and consumer preferences.
  • Develop accurate and detailed CADs and technical packs for product development, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Communicate effectively with buyers and stakeholders, presenting designs and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Create designs that cater to our target audience, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Oversee sampling and production processes, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Liaise with overseas factories to ensure smooth production and timely delivery.

Person Specifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a denim designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
  • Passionate about denim and fashion, with a deep understanding of current high street trends.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with designers, buyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Adobe software and CAD, with a strong understanding of design principles and techniques.
