About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Mental Health Service at Penn Hospital. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for working with adults with mental health needs, providing a range of therapy interventions and assessments to support their recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Work effectively as a member of the inpatient and ward teams, providing individual and group therapy interventions using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals.
- Manage a clinical caseload of adults with mental health needs, conducting occupational therapy assessments and treatment interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing the Model of Human Occupation and occupational formulation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.

Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Post-preceptorship experience and extensive clinical experience in individual and group work.
- Experience of occupational therapy assessments and interventions with adults with mental health needs.
- Knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation and occupational formulation.
